About Kurdistan House

Under the auspices of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, the Kurdistan House was established for the first time at the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos. Through the Kurdistan House, the Prime Minister aims to open a gateway to showcase the region's potential on the global stage as a hub for investment and innovation, fostering opportunities for global partnerships and economic growth

Kurdistan House offers a unique platform to showcase the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, highlighting investment opportunities and promoting discussions on economic growth. Recognizing Kurdistan's strategic importance, we aim to position it as a hub for innovation and collaboration. At the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Kurdistan House will be open daily, welcoming guests to engage in open house events and targeted discussions over authentic Kurdish tea. Join us as we drive meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas to address regional and global opportunities and challenges.

Kurdistan House: Where Regional Potential Meets Global Dialogue

Kurdistan House is excited to welcome you for the second year in a row to a space filled with presentations, open house events, and engaging discussions that explore the opportunities and challenges of economic growth in Kurdistan, Iraq, and beyond. Over delicious Kurdish tea, you’ll have the chance to connect, exchange insights, and engage in socio-economic, political, and cultural dialogues, fostering lasting relationships with regional companies.

This year, at the World Economic Forum 2025, Kurdistan House will focus on fostering geopolitical stability and strengthening regional cooperation, recognizing these as vital to sustainable economic growth in Kurdistan and Iraq. We will explore the pathways to a sustainable future through an inclusive energy transition, while also promoting public-private partnerships as a foundation for lasting development. Our discussions will emphasize the importance of empowering youth and fostering innovation to drive Kurdistan’s future, as well as the critical role of the diaspora in contributing to the region’s growth.

In addition, Kurdistan House will highlight opportunities and challenges in unlocking Kurdistan's investment potential, addressing key sectors such as real estate and urban development to support modern infrastructure. We will also delve into cultural heritage and tourism as pivotal economic drivers that celebrate Kurdistan’s rich history and attract global interest. Furthermore, our platform will underscore the importance of investing in human capital through education, skills enhancement, and workforce development to create a resilient and capable population ready to lead the region forward.

We’re also proud to showcase the breathtaking landscapes of Kurdistan and advocate for tourism growth through inclusive and sustainable practices. Kurdistan House is also committed to empowering women’s peace and security, as well as providing re-skilling and up-skilling opportunities for a vibrant, youth-driven workforce to fuel economic progress.

At Kurdistan House, our mission is to foster collaboration for meaningful impact. We’re dedicated to advancing understanding, inclusivity, and sustainable solutions to address both local and global challenges. Join us from January 20-24, 2025, in Davos—let’s make a difference together!
